Largescale streetscape revitalization and community engagement project featuring an interactive fountain, plaza, and mosaics at K Street and Park Road NW, extending into the community at Columbia Heights, Washington D.C.. Commissioned by the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities.

Central fountain: 30’ Diameter

Overhead view of the central Resonance Plaza. The mosaic fountain is surrounded by 5 smaller mosaics and concentric rings which radiate out into the surrounding streets. Each group of rings references a water droplet that has fallen from above. The textile images at the center of the plaza mosaics create a kaleidoscope representing the cultural composition of the Columbia Heights community.
